Crash when attempting to load Skate Ranch and The Ruins

Evidently the game is missing files necessary to load the maps. I have tried all I can think of to solve this problem, including repairing using the THUG Pro setup wizard. Uninstalling THUG Pro and reinstalling it. Uninstalling THUG 2 altogether. I have even removed the registry entries before reinstalling as suggested for a full uninstall in the cleanup and reinstall thread.
Strangely, I was previously able to play on both of these maps, and I think this all started after I installed the custom level megapack by beastiethumbs.
Anyone have any suggestions?

This happens to me too, albeit I do not have any mods besides soundtrack installed. And even then, it still happened when the game was "fresh".
