I can join a server with all maps. But if I host and load some of the newer THPS3 maps (Skater Island, Foundry, etc) I crash. I have done a fresh install of T2 and Tpro. What can I do? Am I the only one or is this known?
edit: I downloaded all the save and cas files I could find on the mod site. And I loaded all of them with the same problems.
TPro Host Crash
Re: TPro Host Crash
What happens if you run the game with an empty save folder?
Where did you get your THUG2 from?
Windowed or fullscreen?
OS?
Have you tried enabling/disabling various light/shadow options from the launcher?

My thug2 is the old Techic rip. My cds were to old to read.... But I just got flippys T2 from his site and did a fresh full install and still crash when I host. Well I only crash when I load Skater Island, F0oundry, etc. The older ones are fine.
It will taker for ever to try all the light and shadow options (its crashes and freezes my oc, no mouse). So I have to Hard Start my machine , grrrrrr.....
I cringe everytime I have to do that, so I will only turn lighting off.

Re: TPro Host Crash
i Removed everything from my Save folder and srtill crash on the newer levels (THPS3 older levels work, etc.). I turned off lighting and such and still crash. If I am in someone elses game and they go to Found, Rio, etc, Im fine.
They also work in Free skate most of the time. Just not hosting.

Re: TPro Host Crash
Can you try running in windowed mode?
Re: TPro Host Crash
crashes. I can play iot in LAN mode. If I join a room and they go to Foundry I have no problems. I can play it in freeskate. If I host it, CRASH, every time. It makes me think the problem is not on my end since it only happens when I host. All older THUG pro levels work fine. Only when hosting the newest levels
Re: TPro Host Crash
I tried every version of T2 there is now. Everything works perfect unless I host it. I can play the newer levels as long as I dont host. I can crank settings for it all as well. But I would really like to be able to host all levels. Why would it work on LAN and not Online?
edit: I also reinstalled a fresh cd copy onto a new hard drive. I deleted all reg files. I deleted all save files. Crash and burn as host......

Re: TPro Host Crash
Ok, in THPS3 levels. Foundry, Tok, SI and Oil crash as host. I can play them in freeskate or if I join a server. Just as long as I dont host them.

Re: TPro Host Crash
TOD, if I change it I crash. I think this is in most levels. I forgot to mention it. Dunno if it helps anuone know whats wrong. If I join a room and they change the TOD its fine. It use to work on a older version.

Re: TPro Host Crash
The time of day crash is caused by some changes introduced by either microsoft or nvidia.
It seems to be a problem with geforce series gpus and windows 10.
I can't really debug this issue, because i don't have any nvidia hardware.
But, if i remember correctly you can disable the level light option in the launcher and it should resolve the crashing.
The host crashing loading THPS3 levels was addressed in 0.6.0.6, I think.
But the underlying issue is still there.
